Have you ever been hunted and end up being hunted? In the book the Assassin by Stephen Coonts the author takes you to excitement and surprise places through the eyes of a secret agent in the CIA. You will be wondering who the good guy is because the author has so many surprises. This book also needs parent guidance because of some bad words. This book is the most surprising book I have ever read.
This is the most surprising book I have ever read because it has so much action, it also is a very tense book because of the feeling the author gives you it feels like your there. The people in Hollywood should make this a movie because they could get rich! This is because there is no way to be bored with this book the author does this by leaving a whole bunch of secretes in the chapter before and reveals them later in the book. This author also makes you feel as if you were there in a chapter a number witch I do not remember, there was an assassin and the main character was looking for him and I felt scared as if the assassin was really in my house, trying to kill my family.
Family in this book is not forgotten too in fact the author ends up having the dad kill his daughter and blow up the president at least he tried. Also the daughter in this book is believed to be the daughter of a terrorist leader, and this is why this book is so awesome! Even though this book had a lot of pro’s it had a couple cons but nobody is perfect right.
The main one is that the book has no real reason or purpose. Example: why people are here and all the background info the author just plops you in the middle of this hunt for people. This confuses me because the book was really great it was awesome, Except for that one big thing. The author could have fixed this by making a prologue in the beginning. Even though this book had some flaws it had many good things about it. I would recommend this book to anyone old enough. Also the authors said he was going to make a second book and try to make a third so I hope this happens. This is the most surprising book I have ever read.
